Rooibos Earl Grey – Caffeine-Free Bergamot Rooibos

We've captured the incredible flavor of classic English Earl Grey and created a unique, caffeine-free herbal alternative! Rooibos Earl Grey combines luxury pure South African rooibos with bergamot — the citrus that gives Earl Grey its distinctive, lively flavor — along with lovely little blue cornflowers for a beautiful touch of color.

Rooibos is naturally caffeine-free and low in tannins. Its smooth, naturally sweet and slightly nutty character pairs wonderfully with bright bergamot, creating an Earl Grey experience that's softer, rounder and perfect for any time of day.

Tasting Notes

  • Aroma: bright, citrusy bergamot
  • Flavor: smooth, naturally sweet rooibos with classic Earl Grey citrus
  • Character: rounded and gently nutty
  • Finish: clean and refreshing

Why You'll Love It

Rooibos Earl Grey gives you all the flavor of a beloved classic without the caffeine. It's a great option for evenings, for kids and for anyone who loves Earl Grey but prefers to avoid caffeine. Because rooibos is never bitter, it's also forgiving and easy to brew.

How to Enjoy

Enjoy it plain, with a slice of lemon, or with milk and honey for a cozy caffeine-free London Fog before bed. It's also refreshing iced and pairs beautifully with scones, shortbread and lemon cake.

I just got this tea today. I have “tea nights” on the nights before I work. Earl grey is my all time favorite tea, but I can’t drink it on nights before I work due to the caffeine content, so I searched for caffeine free options. The rooibos earl grey came up and I found and bought this. It is delightful! I was worried the more earthy flavor of the rooibos would clash with the bergamot, but it did not. Rooibos carries the bergamot beautifully. If you love earl grey and need caffeine free and not just decaf, then I recommend this highly.

This is an exquisite tea! The rooibos flavor gives it an earthy background flavor...and the bergamot is strong and bright! It is by far the best Earl Gray flavor I have ever encountered! I also appreciate the fact that there is no caffeine and rooibos itself is a low oxalate tea. Perfect for anyone with kidney stone issues or other oxalate related conditions! I recommend it to others all the time!

Never would have guessed that I love the taste of cornflower along with its beautiful color! This is so soothing and "clean"-tasting. A new favorite.

This is one of the better caffeine-free Earl Grey blends that I've tried. I've had 2 packages of this over the past few years and I enjoy it. It makes a good strong brew and the tea has smaller particles, thus more surface area to brew quickly. I've also tried the Earl Grey Secret Garden, which was also nice. That one is just lighter and more floral. This one is more potent, and you can really taste the Earl Grey flavor.
