[EN] I have tried several of the Tealyra’s white teas and this one is hands down my favourite!!! It has such a delicate sweet flavour. I’m not a fan of white teas that have the grassy taste (sort of like green tea light), so I was thrilled with the tea just being so smooth and wonderful! It’s now my favourite white tea!!! Thanks so much for having this available.
[EN] I have just started drinking this Hong Yu white tea. I love i. A very delicate taste, really exquisite.
[EN] I'm on a journey with tea's at the moment & after reading of the health benefits of white tea, I am now trialing different one's to find a couple of favorites. Of the 4 I have tried so far for my taste this is the best. It has a light delicate flavour, lovely colour ( I use a glass teapot & mug) & while it is a bit more expensive, I have up to 4 steeps from this. 3 x hot pots of tea through the day & then pop the pot in the fridge overnight for a really refreshing iced tea the next day. Value for money for me.
[EN] Quite exquisite tea.
[EN] I have questions rather than a review: should I leave the leaves intact when brewing or crush them? I’m sorry if this is a shocking and appalling question, but I’m an herbalist and I harvest herbs and store them whole, and then crush them just before brewing, to release their full power, so I’m not sure what to do with these whole tea leaves. Also, the package says to brew it at 190 degrees F. Are you all actually doing that? I usually brew white tea at 176 for the first brew and increase one degree for each subsequent brewing, so 190 seems pretty extreme to me.
